My music production work spans nearly a decade, including productions totaling over one billion streams. While I have an extensive portfolio of work which I'm proud of, I'm sharing here a selection of featured pieces that I rotate periodically to showcase different aspects of my production experience.
I. Featured Works
Kódigos - Dinzagroove
This production features accomplished Latin American touring musicians collaborating on an experimental piece. The song breaks traditional production rules through complex polyrhythms, unconventional scale choices, and a non-standard structure with multiple solos. As recording engineer and editor, I worked with high-end equipment (Avalon, Neve, Neumann, AKG) and developed a section-specific quantization approach to balance precision with natural performance.
Me Gustas - Reno Rojas ft. Monsieur Louf
Full production involvement: co-composition, production, vocal production, recording, mixing, and mastering. Starting from a basic ukulele and vocal demo, I expanded the arrangement by bringing in session musicians for acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and percussion. The song has reached 250,000 streams.
II. Professional Experience
Nearly a decade of studio work, advancing from runner to chief audio engineer and producer. Collaborated with international Latin artists, with total stream count exceeding one billion (verified via muso.ai credits). Key achievements:
Assistant engineer on Latin Grammy-nominated album
Dolby Atmos mix featured as Apple Music cover release
Mixes in Apple Music's "Hip Hop in Dolby Atmos" playlist
III. Research Connection
My background combines professional production expertise with academic research interests. This is demonstrated in my Audio Engineering Society Latin America Convention research on soft clipping in master channel processing and DAC interfaces, studying its impact on perceived audio clarity. This work exemplifies my approach of investigating common industry practices through academic research methods.
